8billionideas | Revised September 2024
Hello 8billionideas Camper!
Welcome to our Holiday Camp! We’re excited to have you join us for fun, learning, and new adventures. To ensure that everyone has a great time, we’ve created a simple Code of Conduct. By following these guidelines, you help make the camp a safe, respectful, and enjoyable place for everyone.
1. Be Kind and Respectful
- Treat others with kindness: Use friendly words, share, and be polite to both children and adults.
- Respect personal space: Give everyone their own space to play and work.
- Listen to others: Pay attention when someone is speaking and wait your turn.
2. Be Safe
- Follow camp rules: Listen to your facilitators and follow instructions carefully.
- Stay with the group: Always stay where the facilitators can see you, and never leave the group without permission.
- Use equipment properly: Treat all camp equipment and supplies with care. Don’t play with anything in a way that could be dangerous.
3. Be Honest
- Tell the truth: If something goes wrong, let your facilitator know. It’s okay to make mistakes, but we need to work together to fix them.
- Own your actions: If you accidentally hurt someone or break something, admit it and say you're sorry.
4. Be Helpful
- Help clean up: After activities, make sure you pick up after yourself and put things back where they belong.
- Work as a team: Camp is about working together. Share and help others whenever you can.
5. Show Good Sportsmanship
